Yixiong and Silvia showcased their research at the annual Society for Neuroscience meeting in San Diego.
Yixiong presented his work on abnormal neuronal ensemble dynamics in a transgenic mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease. His study integrated experimental observations with computational modeling to identify critical disruptions in glutamate homeostasis underlying these abnormalities.
Silvia shared our recent findings using gene-based activity mapping to explore brain circuitry involved in transitive inference. Her results revealed that stronger activation of the medial prefrontal cortex predicts successful transitive inference, offering new insights into the neural basis of complex reasoning.
We extend our thanks to everyone who stopped by and engaged in thoughtful discussions.
