CAN meeting

Our lab presented three posters at CAN meeting in Toronto. Jakki presented her Master thesis showing that event-locked transient cholinergic signal in the medial prefrontal cortex has opposing effects on memory encoding depending on event types. Tag showed that the inactivation of the lateral entorhinal cortex abolishes a neural signature of temporal associative learning in the medial prefrontal cortex. Kaori presented novel, minutes-order neural plasticity in the medial prefrontal cortex that occurs at the time of memory encoding. All these posters were well received, and we would like to thank everyone who stopped by and engaged in active discussion.
