Our laboratory is in the Psychology Department at the University of Toronto.  The principal investigator, Dr. Kaori Takehara-Nishiuchi runs an active neuroscience research team which consists of several post-doctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate students.

Research

 

 

We combine behavioural, neurophysiological, imaging, and genetic approaches to study circuit and physiological mechanisms underlying memory and their disruption in memory disorders.  

Teaching

 

 

Dr. Takehara-Nishiuchi teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in the Psychology Department at the University of Toronto.
